AUDD Digital’s claimable balance feature offers a flexible way to send AUDD to anyone, even if they don’t have an AUDD Digital wallet yet. This innovative approach ensures that transactions are inclusive and can reach recipients wherever they are. However, there may be instances where a claimable balance goes unclaimed for a prolonged period of time. Claimable balances do not expire, meaning they will remain pending until the recipient claims the AUDD. If you find yourself in this situation, there are several steps you can take to resolve the issue and ensure the successful completion of your transaction.

Check Notification Delivery

The first step is to confirm whether the recipient received notification of the claimable balance. Depending on their email settings, the notification could have been redirected to their junk or spam folder. Encourage the recipient to check these folders and mark AUDD Digital emails as "safe" to prevent future notifications from being missed.

Verify Recipient’s Registration Details

It’s possible the recipient may have registered for an AUDD Digital account using a different email or mobile number than the one you sent the AUDD to. In such cases, the recipient can add the email or mobile number used in the transaction to their AUDD Digital account as an additional contact detail in their profile settings. Once verified, the AUDD will be credited to their account immediately, resolving the issue of the unclaimed balance.

Location-Based Verification Issues

Recipients located overseas might encounter verification challenges due to their location, impacting their ability to claim their balance. AUDD Digital requires identity verification to ensure users gain access to the full functionality of the platform. If the recipient is unable to complete the verification process, they have the option to register for a wallet-only account. By selecting the 'Wallet' user type during registration, they can bypass certain verification steps and claim their AUDD.

Correct Typographical Errors

A common reason for unclaimed balances is a typographical error in the recipient's email address or mobile number. If you suspect there was a mistake in the information provided, the best course of action is to contact AUDD Digital's support team. Our support team is equipped to assist with these issues and can guide you through the process of correcting the error to ensure the claimable balance reaches its intended recipient.
