Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an essential security measure that adds an extra layer of protection to your online accounts, including your AUDD Digital account. In addition to your password (the first factor), 2FA requires a second verification step, ensuring that only you can access your account. This second factor could be something you know (like a PIN), something you have (like your phone), or something you are (like your fingerprint).
How 2FA Protects Your Account
2FA significantly increases the security of your account. Even if someone discovers your password, they will be unable to access your account unless they also have access to the second factor. This dual-layer approach is especially important in the world of digital finance, where account security is critical.
Multi-factor authentication (2FA) is required for all AUDD Digital accounts.
Before starting, download any Authentication Apps (like Google Authenticator or Authy) you preferred: These apps generate time-sensitive codes that you use alongside your password. Following the connection of your authenticator app to your AUDD Digital account, it will generate a new code every 30 seconds or so, which you will enter during the login process.
Go to the AUDD Digital website login by clicking the link on the main website, or going straight to https://get.audd.digital/
Step 2: Initiate 2FA Setting
Click the ‘ENABLE 2FA’ button on your screen to initiate the setting if this is your first time. Or navigate to Settings on the main menu, click the ‘ Security’ on the right. Click ‘Set Up’ button next to Two-Factor- Authentication, this will open the 2FA enabling settings
Step 3: Open Authenticator App on your Phone
Scan the QR-code shown on screen once you open the Authentication app on your phone.
Step 4: Complete Verification
Enter the 6-digit code generated in your app, and click the ‘Verify’ to complete setup
Step 5: Success! You’re Enabled 2FA
You will receive a pop-up reminder on your screen to notice your 2FA is complete. Once you are enabled, you will need to enter a new one-time passcode (OTP) from your authenticator app each time you log in.
And that's it! By following these steps, you can safely explore the new AUDD platform. Should you face any issues or have further queries, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team at support@audd.digital
