Important Note on Transfer Time:
AUDD Digital processes Australian dollar payments using Australia's domestic payment networks: the New Payments Platform (NPP) and the Bulk Electronic Clearing System (BECS).
NPP provides near real-time settlement and is the fastest option for most customers. And BECS is handled by the banking system and does not require any action from you.
When a transfer is processed, AUDD platform will process the payment via NPP wherever possible. If your bank does not support NPP, the payment will automatically be routed via BECS.
Non-Standard Payment Methods
Although NPP and BECS cover the majority of payments in Australia, there are instances where alternative methods such as RTGS and SWIFT are required.
Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)
RTGS is typically used for high-value or time-sensitive transfers. Funds that are processed via RTGS are processed on their standard times.
SWIFT is the international banking network used for cross-border payments. SWIFT deposits require manual reconciliation by our support team to account for any intermediary bank fees. These deposits are processed during standard business hours only.
