Managing your email addresses on AUDD Digital is a straightforward process that is crucial for staying up-to-date with important notifications and account updates. Whether you're adding a new email, updating existing ones, or removing those you no longer use, this guide will walk you through each step. Finding Your Linked Emails
Start by navigating to your account’s Basic Info section, which you can find in the menu on the left-hand side of your screen. Within the Profile Settings menu, you’ll see a button labelled Emails. Clicking this will display all the emails linked to your account.
For quicker access, you can click here to be taken directly to the Email page.
Pro Tip: An email address with a star icon next to it signifies your primary email. This address is paramount, as it's used by AUDD Digital to communicate essential updates and account information.
Adding a New Email
- Initiate Addition: Click the 'add new' button to begin the process of adding a new email address.
- Enter and Update: Type in your new email address, and double check that it has been entered directly. If everything looks good, click 'update'.
- Verification: A verification email will be sent to the newly added address. You'll need to click the verification link within that email to activate the new email address.
If you haven't received the email, check your junk folder. If it's still not there, use the 'resend' option for another verification email.
If you choose to verify later by clicking the Verify Later button, a red error icon will appear next to your email in the list. This email will not be active until it is verified. You can resume the verification process at any time by clicking this icon.
Setting a New Primary Email
For added security, your primary email can only be updated by the support team. If you wish to designate a different email as your primary, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
Removing an Email
- Deletion Option: To remove an email, hover over the desired email address and click the bin icon.
- Confirm Removal: A confirmation screen will appear. Confirm your decision to permanently delete the email from your account.
Pro Tip: Your primary email cannot be deleted unless a new primary email is assigned. This ensures continuous and secure communication.
