If you're looking to understand how to withdraw your Australian Dollars (AUD) back to your bank account, this guide is tailor-made for you. We've crafted these instructions with the utmost clarity, especially for those who may be new to digital currencies.

Pre-requisites

Before you proceed with lodging your withdrawal, ensure you are at least a Tier 2 verified user on our platform. Not sure about your verification status or how to become Tier 2 verified? Kindly refer to our verification support articles here.

You must also have an available AUD balance to withdraw back to your bank account. If you only have AUDD in your wallet, learn how to sell it for Australian Dollars here.

Steps to Withdraw AUD to Your Bank Account

Step 1: Access Your Accounts

Begin by clicking on the 'accounts' button in the main menu.

Step 2: Locate Your AUD Balance

Inside the accounts section, you will spot different balances associated with various types of AUDD. Locate and select your AUD balance, identified by an Australian flag icon.

Step 3: Initiate the Withdrawal

After selecting your AUD balance, proceed by clicking the 'withdrawal' button on the wallet menu.

Step 4: Select your Bank Account Details

If you have already added your bank account details to your account, your information will automatically be added to your withdrawal request as a first selection.

Tip: If you need to add new banking details, simply click on the bank details present, and then follow the steps below to add a new bank account.

If this is your first time withdrawing to your bank account, you'll need to add your bank details to your AUDD Digital account.

  1. Under the 'withdraw to' section, click on the 'add new account' heading.
  2. Then, press the 'add new bank account' button.
  3. A form will appear. Here, provide the necessary details: account name, BSB, and account number.
  4. After filling out the form, click 'save'. This action will store your bank details for future withdrawals and redirect you back to the main withdrawal screen.

Step 5: Specify Withdrawal Amount

With your bank details in place, input the AUD amount you wish to withdraw.

Note: There will be a withdrawal fee associated with the transaction. The exact fee varies based on your account type and tier level with AUDD Digital. This fee is deducted separately from your main balance. For instance, if your fee is 1% and you wish to withdraw $50, ensure you have at least $50.50 in your total account balance. Step 6: Review and Confirm Withdrawal

A confirmation screen will show all the details of your intended withdrawal. Thoroughly check this information. If all is accurate, confirm the withdrawal.

Once confirmed, your withdrawal request will be submitted for approval and processing.

Tip: You can decrease your withdrawal fee - and increase your limits - by completing more steps to verify your account!

Timing for Bank Transfers

Typically, bank transfers from the AUDD Digital platform will take between 1-2 business days. In many cases, transfers initiated should reflect in your bank account by the next business day.
