What’s Changing and What to Expect

As we kick off the new year, we’re excited to share details of a major upgrade to the AUDD Digital platform.

This update represents a significant step forward in usability, wallet functionality, and future product capability – designed to make managing your AUDD simpler, more intuitive, and more powerful.


The changes outlined below are not yet live. The platform upgrade is currently scheduled for late February to early March 2026, and we will provide a more precise timeline as we get closer to launch.

What will be new at launch?

When the updated platform goes live, users can expect the following improvements:


  • A refreshed platform experience
    • A brand-new look and feel focused on clarity and intuitive navigation.
    • Optional Light and Dark mode to suit your preferences.
  • Unified wallet experience
    • Integrated wallet support for all blockchains currently supported by AUDD.
    • Seamless AUDD deposits and withdrawals across supported blockchains.
    • A single, consolidated AUDD balance – no more separating balances by blockchain.
  • Smarter account management
    • Save frequently used wallet addresses and bank details in your address book.
    • Sign up or log in using Google or Apple, with email/password login still supported.

What's coming after launch?

These features will be introduced progressively following the initial platform release:


  • Multi-asset functionality
    • Deposit, withdraw, and trade other stablecoins and digital assets using AUDD.
    • Hold multiple stablecoins and digital assets alongside AUDD in your wallet.
  • Portfolio insights
    • Track portfolio gains and losses directly within the platform.
    • Create a personal watchlist of assets you’re monitoring.
  • Payments and merchant enhancements
    • PayID deposits and withdrawals.
    • Improved merchant facilities, including:
      • Multi-currency support (stablecoins and digital assets)
      • Automated conversion
      • Enhanced settlement options

What's being removed?

To support the new platform architecture, the following features and account types will be retired:


  • AUD balances
    • Instead, AUD deposits will be automatically converted to AUDD.
    • Withdrawals to your bank account will be processed directly from your AUDD balance.
  • Mobile-number-based 2FA and SMS notifications
    • 2FA will now only be available via 2FA apps (such as Google Authenticator, or Authy).
  • AUDD transfers between AUDD Digital users via email or mobile number
    • Sending to a wallet address is still supported.
  • Bulk AUDD sends via CSV upload (Mass Send)
    • If you require this feature, please reach out to our support team for API access.
  • Support for certain account types, including:
    • Trust and SMSF accounts
    • Wallet accounts
    • Partner accounts

Important points to note:

Please read the following carefully, as these items require user awareness and action:


  • Timing
    • The upgrade is planned for late February to early March 2026.
    • We will share a more precise date and time closer to launch.
  • Account security reset
    • Due to the nature of the upgrade, passwords and 2FA settings will be reset.
    • Clear instructions on how to reactivate your account will be provided ahead of launch.
  • Balance consolidation
    • All existing balances will be merged into a single AUDD balance, including:
      • AUD balances
      • AUDD balances across all supported blockchains
  • Opt-out option
    • If you do not want your balances merged:
      • Withdraw your AUDD to an external wallet, and/or
      • Withdraw your AUD back to your bank account
    • This must be done before the platform upgrade.
  • New deposit addresses
    • AUDD deposit addresses will change with the upgrade.
    • Any deposits sent to old addresses after launch may not be credited.
    • Please ensure you use the new deposit details once the platform is live.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Has this update already taken effect?
No. The update is not yet live. It is currently planned for late February to early March 2026, with further confirmation to follow.

Will I lose my funds during the upgrade?

No. All eligible balances will be safely migrated and consolidated into a single AUDD balance, unless you choose to withdraw before the upgrade.


Why are AUD balances being removed?
The updated platform is AUDD-native. Holding and transacting via AUDD allows for a simpler, more consistent experience across banking and blockchain rails. As such, any AUD deposit made to your account will be automatically converted to AUDD.


Do I need to do anything before launch?
Most users do not need to take action. However, you should:
  • Withdraw funds if you do not want balances merged.
  • Be prepared to reset your password and 2FA after launch.
  • Update saved deposit addresses once the new platform is live.

Will my old AUDD deposit address still work?
No. New AUDD deposit addresses will be issued. Deposits must be sent to the new address after launch.


Why are some account types no longer supported?
The updated platform is focused on a streamlined retail and merchant experience. Certain legacy account structures are not compatible with the new architecture.

What happens next?

These changes have not yet taken effect. We will continue to keep you informed and will provide:


  • A confirmed launch date
  • Step-by-step reactivation instructions
  • Clear guidance on new deposit details
